My best friend, he was pretty independent, didn’t give a fuck what others thought and I had assumed we were gonna do New Years together has dropped me like its nothing and is doing NYE with his new boyfriend, who has also seemed to make him seem so insecure its ridiculous.
Another friend told me they are “Not gonna try so hard anymore” when it comes to dating, yet here they are...

My new years resolution
Is to not say “Sorry” so much. Sometimes I feel like I’m just doing it because I don’t want people thinking so badly of me, but the truth is if I didn’t mean it, I wouldn’t have done what I apologized for in the first place. Does that make sense? I’m not looking to be a dick but I’m doing things for me in a non-apologetic way.
